Parenting Advice: How To Know When To Bathe Your Kid

Mommy Tip #120

How to tell when your kid needs a bath:

When they look you directly in the eyes
on a school morning while getting dressed,
with two hands down the back of their panties
digging to China and back,
and speak the words so sincerely... :

"Mom, my butt itches really bad...
ARE WE TAKING BATHS TONIGHT?"

Oh.My.God.

Parents, that could be a sign.

[Identity of above child will remain secret in the chance you ever meet her and are greeted by a handshake.]

Right then. *writes it down* Shake...no one's hand...in Susan's household.

That ought to do it.

Only worry when they scratch like that and still deny the need to bathe.

If the bath doesn't immediately address that situation, check for pinworms.

The kids have a nailbrush and know how to use it, right? ;-)

Or when your daughter sits down next to you and you can smell her. Good indicator.
